How much Vietnam visa costs?

There are several kind of fee you will need to pay for visa including processing fee and stamping fee. These 2 kind of fee are grouped into sums of money that you pay once when applying for visa.

For e-visa: You have to pay the fee 45 USD (25 USD government fee and 20 USD service fee) once when you start applying for e-visa.
For visa on arrival: You have to pay 2 kind of fee:
– The processing fee (12 USD for 1 month single entry tourist visa): is paid to the visa agency when you are applying for visa and;
– The stamping fee (25 USD for 1 month single entry tourist visa): is paid on arrival when you are picking up visa stamp. It is 25 USD for 1-3 months single entry or 50 USD for 1-3 months multiple entry. For 6 months multiple entry visa, the stamping fee is 95 USD or 135 USD for 1 year multiple entry visa.

Visa on arrival is an alternative way to obtain a visa for Vietnam in addition to the traditional way of getting a visa at Vietnam Embassy. +How long does it take to get visa approval letter?

The approval letter is processed and emailed you within two (02) working days (excepts Saturday, Sunday and public holiday). In urgent cases, you are able to get the approval letter within 8 hours, 4 hours, 2 hours or even 1 hour. Visa on arrival is just valid for those who enter Vietnam by air. For land and cruise entry, please visit a Vietnam Embassy or Consulates to get your visa before your departure. There are three international airports in Vietnam that you can get your visa stamp with visa approval letter including: Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi), Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Ho Chi Minh City) and Da Nang Airport (Da Nang).
