List of countries are eligible for e-visa from 2017 to present

The e-visa was first introduced by the Vietnam Immigration Department from 2017. Since then, there are several trial stages of e-visa applying to the specific nationalities and now, all the nationalities are eligible for Vietnam e-visa application.

At the current stage:

Vietnam e-visa is applicable for all the nationalities;

From February 1st, 2019:

More 34 countries are added to the Vietnam e-visas list:

53. Cyprus

Citizens of 40 countries will be able to apply for 30-day, single-entry e-visas

Vietnam e-visa validity is 90 days maximum with single or multiple entries.
The processing time: 3 – 5 working days
Rush service: 4 hours, 8 hours or 2 working days

The e-visa processing time is not fixed depending on the accuracy of the documents you submitted. If your visa application needs to be amended or verified by the Immigration Department, the processing time will be extended (may tak up 15 days). Those who would like to receive the visa on time can choose the rush evisa service or a Vietnam visa on arrival instead.
